As the result of over hunting and non official control by the government many kinds of Iranian animals has been disappeared from this country. Some of them (The big mammals) are:
  • Persian Lion (Panthera Leo Persica)
  • Persian Tiger (Panthera Tigris Virgata)
  • Snow Leopard (Panther Unica)

Also some Iranian wildlife listed as endangered species:

Mammals

  • Baluchistan Bear (Ursus Thibetanus Gedrosianus)
    Iranian Cheetah (Acinonyx Jubatus Venaticus)
    Iranian Wolf (Canis Lupus Pallipes)
    Persian fallow deer (Dama Mesopotamica)
    Persian Wild Ass (Equus Heminous Onager)

Reptiles

  • Crocodile, mugger (Crocodylus Palustris Palustris)
  • Indian (Bengal) Monitor (Varanus Bengalensis)
  • Viper, Lar Valley (Vipera Latifii)

These amazing and beautiful beings, need your support and help. Save them, because people can make changes.
